What Is Health Coaching?
Health coaching is a process that guides you to your desired goals in health, no matter what your starting point. Whether you are suffering from a chronic health condition or you are looking to increase your energy levels and fitness, my goal is to empower you to be the driver and owner of your health. As your coach, I do this by identifying the root cause of your health challenges, bringing clarity to the issues and struggles around your health management, and helping set clear goals and action plans to break old habits.

How Does the Coaching Program Work?
The coaching program begins with an electronic health assessment for you to fill out before our first meeting. Once this has been received and reviewed, our initial appointment can last from 60 to 120 minutes.
During this time, we discuss your health history, your biggest health challenges and go over your current lifestyle. From there, we will explore your health goals and what being healthy looks like to you, and design a long-term vision of where you want your health to be along with a road map of how to get there.
We will then talk weekly, for 30 minute sessions. In these sessions, we explore and set specific goals and I provide specific behaviour change strategies to help you meet your desired health outcomes. We discuss actual and potential barriers that keep you from being healthy, create customized action plans, and develop strategies that enable and empower you to attain your goals.
